Like every year, Monaco’s National Day ended with a gala evening at the Grimaldi Forum. Friday 19 November 2021, the feast day of the prince at the Rock, the princely family gathered again for a gala on the theme “Plácido Domingo – Spanish night”. The opportunity to meet Prince Albert of Monaco and his sister Princess Caroline. The latter was able to count on the presence of two of her four children: Andrea Casiraghi (accompanied by his wife Tatiana Santo Domingo) and Charlotte Casiraghi.
After missing the three previous editions of the Prince’s Day, Charlotte Casiraghi was surprised to take part in this 2021 edition. Friday evening, the 35-year-old Monegasque occupied a prominent place between the sovereign and her mother. Of course, the Chanel ambassador was dressed by the Parisian house with a long dress with shoulders decorated with tulle (from the fall-winter 2021 pre-collection). A handbag and two-tone gold pumps, still from Chanel, completed her ensemble.
Earlier in the day, Charlotte Casiraghi had already illustrated in a Chanel look for the less dazzling, with a quilted golden coat close to the body. The wife of producer Dimitri Rassam then sublimated her new short bob by bringing it volume and shine. After the traditional mass celebrated in the cathedral of Monaco, the “senior” members of the Grimaldi clan found their children at the palace for the rest of the festivities: Charlotte Casiraghi was then displayed in the company of her eldest son Raphaël (7 years old), born from his past loves with Gad Elmaleh. Her husband and their son Balthazar (3 years old), on the other hand, stayed away from this day of celebration.
Almost in full force, the princely family has almost made us forget the absence of Princess Charlene of Monaco. Returning last November 8, after eight months in South Africa, the 43-year-old ex-swimmer began a new period of convalescence far from the principality. On the balcony of the princely palace, when greeting the Monegasques, his children Jacques and Gabriella (soon to be 7 years old) surprised the crowd with signs showing their lack (see slideshow). Failing to have their mother with them, the twins were able to count on the affection of their aunts, Princesses Caroline and Stéphanie.
