The International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu unveiled the headliners of its musical program on Wednesday. Guest stars include Charlotte Cardin, Simple Plan and Bryan Adams.
Nostalgia will be in the spotlight since, in addition to a show by Ludovick Bourgeois dedicated to the B. B. repertoire, the event will also host that of the ex-academicians of Star Academy 2003 and the pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne, who made a splash 20 years ago.
Country singer Matt Lang will also headline the bill, while several other local artists such as Rêve, Fredz, Éléonore Lagacé, Les Shirley, Léonie Gray and Andréanne A. Malette will kick off the evenings on the main stage or perform on a secondary stage.
The Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu International Hot Air Balloon Festival is held from August 9 to 11 and August 15 to 18. Tickets are on sale now.
