A 12-year-old argument
Remember: in 2011, Charlie Sheen, the star of the hit series My uncle Charlie, had been ousted
after publicly attacking the creator of Big Band Theory and of Dharma & Greg. At the end of this violent altercation, the fallen star replaced by Ashton Kutcher

A repentance which undoubtedly made the director want to trust him again by offering him a role in his new production. Especially since 2018, the son of Martin Sheen declares to be completely cured of his addictions to alcohol and drugs and having worked on his excessive anger

Titled How to Be A Bookie, this new dark comedy follows Danny, a veteran bookmaker who must face the challenges of impending sports betting legislation. But also to his clients, his family, his increasingly unstable colleagues and a lifestyle that takes him from the beautiful neighborhoods to the slums of Los Angeles.
Casting sidewe will also have the opportunity to find Sebastian Maniscalco (The Irishman), in the role of Danny, Vanessa Ferlito (CSI: Manhattan) in that of his sister Lorraine, Andrea Aners (Mr.Sunshine) in that of Sanra and Jorge Garcia (Lost) in that of a former drug dealer named Hector. Charlie Sheen’s role is still unknown at this time, but we do know that he will have a recurring role.
Available from November 30 on the American platform Max, this program in eight episodes should be available in France via the Warner Pass on Prime Video. As of this writing, Max and Warner Bros.
