(Montreal) A motorcyclist is currently in critical condition after swerving in the middle of the evening on Saturday.
According to Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, emergency services were called around 6:15 p.m. to go to Route 381, at kilometer 40 in the Lac-Pikauba sector, in the region. from Charlevoix.
The motorcyclist left the road for a reason still unknown.
“According to initial information, the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle in a curve and following this swerve, was thrown from his motorcycle,” relates Mme Savoy.
The victim was transported to a hospital where he is currently fighting for his life.
A police officer trained in collision investigation with the Sûreté du Québec went to the scene to try to clarify the circumstances of this accident.
