The 26-year-old Laval resident brought the score to the final count in the eighth, using a two-run homer. He has six RBIs in major league baseball in 29 games.
Miami stayed in control after scoring two runs in the first inning. Garrett Cooper moved to a triple from the carousel, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Nick Fortes meanwhile had three hits and Miguel Rojas hit two doubles.
The Marlins won a second straight game after a nine-game losing streak.
Pete Alonso hit a 33e home run for the Mets.
