At 18 months, the prince charles continues to melt Luxembourgers. This weekend, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, her son the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and his wife Countess Stéphanie visited the Bazar International de Luxembourg. But it was really the little prince who was the star in the aisles of the LuxExpo center.
On November 29, 2021, on the Instagram account of the Grand Ducal Court, several photos of this event were relayed. Pictures on which Prince Charles and his good cheeks appear, sometimes in grandma’s arms, sometimes in those of mom and dad. Particularly wise in the midst of the crowd and the stands, the little boy finally saw his patience rewarded with an obviously delicious cookie. In one of the pictures, little Charles is enjoying a tender break in his grandmother’s arms. Never had the Grand Duchess appeared so affectionate and accomplice with her grandson!
However, Charles’s presence did not prevent her from taking her role very seriously: the International Bazaar has been placed under the high patronage of Maria Teresa for 15 years now. Once again this year, the event offered visitors a multitude of stands with products from all over the world. The proceeds then make it possible to support numerous charitable projects, both in Luxembourg and elsewhere in the world.
