We all hummed “Like a plane without wings”, “Local Rock”, “La ballade de Serge K” or “Aime-moi encore”. Multifaceted designer, CharlElie Couture has been with us since the end of the 1970s. When he is not recording, he paints, photographs, draws. He has to his credit 25 albums and twenty film scores, including that of “Tchao Pantin” with Coluche and Richard Anconina, directed by Claude Berri, who won five Césars in 1984. Ten years later, the Nancy settled in New York. He stayed there for fifteen years, before returning to France in 2018. He now resides between Paris and a village in Lorraine near Nancy.
Hidden treasures
This new series of concerts accompanies both the release of his 24th studio album “Trésors Cachés et Perles Rares” (Blue Street / Flying Boat) and that of the biography “CharlElie Poète Rock” (Editions Archipel). In this show, the extension of the “Solo Plus” concerts, a number of flagship titles are grouped together which will bring back memories to those who heard them at the time of their release. ; but also, always in complicity with Karim Attoumane, CharlElie Couture has chosen to revive other songs that have sometimes gone unnoticed … The images on the screen evoking his painting, the texts and the rock blues music that have always been in him , will make this show a moment that we can share as if it were the soundtrack of his life as an artist.
