The NFL Network reported the whole thing on Tuesday morning. Of this amount, $42 million is guaranteed.

James hasn’t taken part in team drills since the start of training camp, even though he has one season left on his current contract. He was, however, present on the sidelines to encourage his teammates.

The 26-year-old American had 118 tackles, two quarterback sacks and two interceptions, in addition to knocking down five passes and causing two fumbles in 2021.

He had been limited to five games in 2020 due to a broken foot. Then, he missed the entire following campaign because of a torn meniscus. He was also invited to the Pro Bowl after his only two full seasons on the circuit.
