Chapel with classified paintings and tea room!

We return to the old stones of the marvelous village of Barroux and its medieval castle; Castle that holds a treasure. A treasure trove of stones with painted walls… listed as Historic Monuments.

We are at Fanny and Jean-Baptiste Vayson de Pradenne, the young owners of the family château since 1928, which they restore with passion. The building over a thousand years old now has a distillery for its future Whisky.

Double pleasure therefore at the Château du Barroux: we visit it while also taking advantage of its terraces with impressive views and we end the visit in the tea room, which, on reservation, offers you its good cuisine. The catering and the tea room are entrusted to Bruno and Yollandethemselves owners of the La maison d’Eugène tea room, in the village itself.
