Chorus Aviation will have a new boss after the announcement of the retirement of its president and CEO Joe Randell.
The founder of Chorus Aviation thus plans to retire after 37 years in the regional aviation sector during the first quarter of 2023, when the company will have published the results of the current financial year.
Randell will be replaced by current Chorus chief operating officer and president of Chorus Aviation Services, Colin Copp, the Halifax, Nova Scotia-based regional aviation specialist said in a statement Wednesday.
“Chorus is fortunate to have a successor as CEO in Colin Copp, who has such deep knowledge of the business and its culture,” said Paul Rivett, Chairman of the Board of administration of Chorus, not without acknowledging Mr. Randell’s contribution to the company’s influence.
“Colin has been an integral part of my leadership team for nearly two decades and has proven himself to be an exemplary leader in solving complex change management issues and negotiating with multiple stakeholders,” said added for his part Joe Randell.
