Chanee, defender of the gibbons of Indonesia

Chanee devotes her life to the preservation of gibbons, a species of primate, in Indonesia. “We have created care centers in Borneo and Sumatra where we receive these animals in a long rehabilitation process”, he explains. He also signs a book “Looking forward to tomorrow – To continue to save” (Editions Presse du Midi). The founder of the Kalaweit association for the protection of Indonesian gibbons advocates active protection. “Acting concretely is what we are sorely lacking on the ground”he adds.

Fréderic Joignot, essayist and journalist for the magazine “We Tomorrow” insists on the need for resilience to continue to save.
