While it is not yet known whether or not the French clubs will play the second day of the Champions Cup while the threat of Covid is growing, the UBB has formalized the group of 23 days that must take this Saturday the direction of Wales.
The staff made eight changes after the defeat (13-16) against Leicester. Six in the pack with the returns of Paiva, Lamothe, Cobilas, Roussel, Roumat and Petti. And two in the back lines that integrate Seuteni and Cordero. Note also the return of Buros on the bench.
The UBB is deprived of Jalibert, Poirot, Marais, Cazeaux (injured) but also of Woki and Tameifuna (leave).
On the Welsh side, there was a lot of uncertainty after the ten days of confinement suffered by the Scarlets team on their return from South Africa. Llanelli will be led by former Clermontois Jonathan Davies. In its ranks several Welsh internationals such as the bend Wyn Jones, hooker Ryan Elias, scrum half Gareth Davies or back Johnny McNicholl. In contrast, star Liam Williams and opener Rhys Patchell are not on the scoresheet.
