Nicolas Vanier is known in particular for his nature films which he filmed for almost 30 years. But from “Belle et Sébastien”, he began to stage more and more actors and especially to enjoy building with them characters and stories! “A logical extension” for the director.
Today he offers a comedy about friendship, a theme that he finds “almost richer than that of love” because longtime friends are accepted as they are, with their faults and their qualities. And maybe even if we met them now, they wouldn’t become our friends!
This is the case of Jean, Patrick, Joanna, Romane and Guillaume who have known each other for more than 30 years. Their marriages and their children have not managed to keep them away and precisely, this weekend, the fifty-year-old band finds itself in Champagne for the bachelor party of Patrick, the last bachelor of the band. But the future wife, arriving unexpectedly, does not seem to be unanimous… In this sublime vineyard, over the giggles, shouting matches and reconciliations, tensions rebound… because in friendship, everyone clinks glasses!
