The famous tea chai delights customers in France. This drink finds its origin in India, the country with the greatest drinkers of this tea in the world. Now the tea chai even invites itself to the tables of great chefs.

It is a hot drink with a unique scent and spicy flavors. Mixture of tea, coffee and milk, tea chai seduces the customers of a Bordeaux café. “It’s warm, it’s comforting and you feel like you’re really doing good”says a woman. In this cafe, every tenth order is a chai.

the chai is from India. It is the national drink in this country where everyone consumes it everywhere: “We Indians have a special relationship with this drink.” Street vendor says he can sell up to 1,000 teas chai in one day. A great Indian chef prepares it, in his own way. He adds cloves and milk then filters the preparation. To meet the high demand for tea in India, it is not uncommon to come across large plantations of tea leaves, spread over several hectares. Nearly 700,000 cups are consumed every minute in the country.
