The Montreal Canadiens recalled defenseman Mattias Norlinder from the Laval Rocket on Tuesday.
The CH called on a player from its American League farm club due to the injury to fullback Jordan Harris. The latter suffers from a lower body injury and will be kept away from the game for an indefinite period.

Norlinder, a third-round pick of the Habs in the 2019 draft, has six games of experience in the National League. He obtained this hearing during the 2021-2022 campaign. He collected an assist in the best hockey league in the world.
With the Rocket in 2023-2024, Norlinder collected a goal and an assist for two points in 14 games. He also maintained a differential of -15.
