Forward Cédric Paquette was absent from the Montreal Canadiens’ exercise on Sunday morning.
The Quebecer is awaiting a result of a COVID-19 screening test. Recall that the day before, CH was forced to register the name of winger Artturi Lehkonen on the list of players unavailable due to the virus.
The Bleu-Blanc-Rouge had also canceled their training on Saturday. The scheduled evening game against the Boston Bruins had previously been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the Massachusetts club.
On Monday, the Canadian will fly to New York, where he will face the Islanders that same evening. The Sainte-Flanelle then has an appointment with the New York Rangers (Wednesday) and the New Jersey Devils (Thursday).
In anticipation of this trip, the CH recalled forwards Alex Belzile, Lukas Vejdemo and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard of the Rocket de Laval.
