The members of the health, safety and working conditions committees of the CGT and Force Ouvrière unions in Mayenne filed a report with the public prosecutor of Laval in order to denounce the endangerment of health personnel and users of hospitals in the department.
According to them, the regular closings of Laval’s emergency rooms and the lack of beds “impose on staff a degraded mode of patient care“. They denounce poor working conditions as well as “the awarding of their diploma each time they take up their position“. For the Mayenne unions, “_care workers are in professional, physical and psychological danger.you” and the situation is more than “catastrophic_“. It portends, they conclude, a bleak future for the health professions.
