In addition to Evans’ two touchdowns, quarterback Nick Arbuckle scored the Rouge et Noir’s other major. The Ontario team also scored a safety touchdown.

Arbuckle completed 21 of 32 passes and gained 219 yards. For his part, Evans threw only one pass, but it allowed a play of 33 yards.

Lewis Ward completed the job for the visitors with a 28-yard field goal.

Elks quarterback Taylor Cornelius had both of his majors and was also credited with a two-point conversion. Sergio Castillo had a field goal in the loss.

Cornelius found takers on 14 of 37 passes for 287 yards. One of his passes was intercepted.
