CFL | Blue Bombers beat Stampeders to go undefeated

(Calgary) Nic Demski and Dalton Schoen both caught two touchdown passes from quarterback Zach Collaros on Saturday night as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Calgary Stampeders 35-28 to remain undefeated.

Collaros delivered a superb performance for the Blue Bombers (8-0), completing 22 of 30 passes for 270 yards.

Marc Liegghio added two field goals and a single for the Blue Bombers who will try to extend their winning streak by visiting the Montreal Alouettes next Thursday.

Ka’Deem Carey had two rushing touchdowns for the Stampeders (4-2), who suffered back-to-back losses, both to the defending Gray Cup champion Blue Bombers.

In the loss, kicker Rene Paredes made five field goals, including one from 53 yards, the longest of his career.
