Harris, 35, had 143 yards on 26 possessions and the Argos (3-2) rallied from a 21-14 deficit with 17 points in the final five minutes of the game.
With 10 regulars sidelined due to COVID-19, the Riders (4-3) entered the game as an underdog and came close to surprising the Argos. The game was scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed back 24 hours due to the outbreak of the disease.
Kurleigh Gittens, who scored a 70-yard touchdown in the second quarter, also scored the major that tied the game at 21-21.
Boris Bede scored the winning kick, a 29-yard field goal, with 47 seconds left in the matchup. The Torontonians sealed the match when Enoch Penney-Laryea picked up a fumble and returned it 10 yards for the touchdown.
Dolegala, six-foot-seven and 242 pounds, replaced Riders starting quarterback Cody Fajardo. The latter’s name was placed on the COVID-19 list earlier this week.
Darnell Sankey intercepted a pass while Rolan Milligan and Charleston Hughes picked up fumbles for the Riders. DeMarcus Christmas and Mike Edem each had sacks for the Riders, who lead the CFL in sacks with 25.
The Riders return to action on Friday at home to face the BC Lions. For their part, the Argos will receive a visit from the Ottawa Redblacks on Sunday.
