CFL | A match between the Lions and the Rouge et Noir in Victoria in 2024

(Victoria) The British Columbia Lions will host the Ottawa Redblacks in Victoria for a CFL regular schedule game next season.

This match, called “Touché Pacifique” by the league, will be played on Saturday August 31 at Royal Athletic Park.

The Ambrosie circuit mentioned that the stadium will be expanded to accommodate between 10,000 and 14,000 spectators, and that there will be a section where people will have to stand.

This will be the sixth game in the “Touched” series, the main objective of which is to develop the popularity of the sport by presenting a regular season game on neutral territory, but the first in Victoria.

The previous five games, which were part of the “Touché Atlantic” series, were presented in cities across the Maritimes.

The Toronto Argonauts defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 29 in Halifax, in the final game of the “Touché Atlantic” series.
