CF Montreal announced that it will begin its training camp on January 13 and that it will spend most of it in the United States on Tuesday, a few hours before presenting its new head coach, Laurent Courtois, to members of the Montreal media.
The players will participate in medical and physical tests on January 13 and 14, in Montreal. The team will then fly to Tucson, Arizona on the 15th to train there until the 28th.
The team will then return home to train until February 4. It is currently unknown where these training sessions will take place.
CF Montreal used to train at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, but it was closed until further notice due to exploratory work to replace the roof on December 12.
The team led by Courtois will continue its camp in Florida, first at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee from February 5 to 15, then at the Omni Complex in Orlando at ChampionsGate until the 23rd. CF Montreal will play his first match in MLS on February 24 against Orlando City, at Exploria Stadium. He will return to Montreal immediately after the match, and will play his first match at Saputo stadium on April 13 against FC Cincinnati.
