The team announced on Tuesday that it would be happy to welcome groups of general admission supporters back to Section 132 beginning Friday.

This part of the stadium had become a problem for the organization. Indeed, the fans who met there during the games did not respect the health and safety instructions, which could have put the team in hot water in many respects. The CFMTL had even publicly condemned these actions.

In its press release, the organization specified that “the section will be animated by groups and independent members wishing to reinvest the platform in a passionate, respectful and safe manner. »

On its Facebook page, the Montreal Impact Collective indicated that it would be part of it, and that the platform offered to it by the CFMTL must be “a space where regulars of the stadium, as well as those less used to it, feel at home. . »

He also specified that the values of the Collective are “passion, trust, respect and transparency. His goal is to “revitalize Montreal football culture, which is unique and magnificent. »
