(New York) MLS has suspended CF Montreal midfielder Matko Miljevic for one game for simulation.

Miljevic was also fined the amount of which has not been disclosed for his action which occurred during the 87e minute of the game between CF Montreal and the New England Revolution last Saturday.
The action was examined using the 3e setting of the MLS Disciplinary Committee, i.e. when officials see an incident and do not punish it with a red card or act as if it were a case of a clear cut simulation that responds to the terms of suspension.
The Committee may review the action for further disciplinary action beyond the statutory suspension and fine.
Miljevic will serve his suspension in CF Montreal’s next game on August 27 against the Fire in Chicago.
