CF Montreal will kick off their 2022 MLS season in Orlando on February 27, and play their home opener at Olympic Stadium on March 5.
The MLS will kick off its next season earlier in an effort to integrate well with that of international soccer, especially the FIFA World Cup in the fall.
After playing the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League in February, CF Montreal will start the next season abroad against Orlando City SC.
The Montreal club will then host the Philadelphia Union on March 5.
The Montrealers’ third game of the season will take place on March 12, during the local opening of New York City FC.
The grand final for the MLS Cup will be presented on Saturday, November 5, more than two weeks before the first matches of the World Cup, which will take place in Qatar and begin on November 21.
The full 2022 MLS season schedule will be revealed at a later date.
