CF Montreal never quite matched Cruz Azul, who won the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals 1-0 on Wednesday in Mexico City.

Uriel Antuna was the only scorer of the match, he who hit the target in the 20th minute. He fired one of 19 shots for your team – two on target – who led 52.5% in possession.
In front of the net of the local favorites, José de Jesús Corona Rodríguez did not have to make the slightest save. CF Montreal only attempted one shot which did not go to the goalkeeper.
The Major League Soccer (MLS) club will try to regain the upper hand next Wednesday in Montreal in the return match. He is also the only one of the four on the circuit – New York City FC, the New England Revolution and the Seattle Sounders being the others – to have started the quarter-finals with a loss.
