The locals were able to celebrate Independence Day in style. Nice goals from Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Rayan Raveloson, in addition to a successful penalty from Dejan Joveljić were the tricks of this thaw in order.

Montreal, however, has installed its game well throughout the meeting. He even dominated possession by more than 60%. But the Angelins did not care: we used the counter-attack and constant pressure as a response.

This is what led to the first goal of the locals. Chicharito scored with a low shot from a tight angle at the far post in the 8the minute.

As it has often been used to this season, Montreal responded well to this first onslaught. Lassi Lappalainen, used down the right lane by Wilfried Nancy, looked great in the first half. He was particularly frustrated at the 11e minute with a fine parade by Jonathan Bond.

Galaxy’s second goal, just before half-time, once again came against the run of play. or forearm—from Joel Waterman to entering the surface of the Galaxy. Penalty, LA. Dejan Joveljić took care of it for the 2-0.

CF Montreal still believed in it when they returned from the locker room. But the Galaxy made sure to always crowd the surface of men in white, which stopped net each of the Montreal threats. Coupled with a lack of realism and opportunism in the final third, Jonathan Bond’s net was rarely threatened.

Rayan Raveloson then became his team’s offensive spokesperson. He was brilliantly served by Julián Araujo in depth before putting on the 3-0 in the 60e. He then completed the beautiful angeline passing sequence in the 79emarked by a sublime heel from Sacha Klejstan, pushing the ball into the top net.

Wilfried Nancy’s troop concludes its trip out west with a win against the Sounders last Wednesday and a loss. He shouldn’t complain too much about this harvest, given the always difficult journeys on the Pacific coast.

His next game will be played at Stade Saputo against Sporting Kansas City on July 9.
