(Montreal) CF Montreal on Wednesday awarded a first professional contract to Quebec midfielders Alessandro Biello and Matteo Schiavoni. Biello, a 17-year-old from Montreal, agreed to a two-year contract, with three additional years of options, as a player trained at the club.
For his part, Schiavoni was acquired in a permanent transfer from FC Bologna. He ratified a one-season pact, which is accompanied by three years of options for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
The 18-year-old midfielder will be loaned to Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League for the 2024 season.
