César 2022: Valérie Lemercier and Benoît Magimel crowned, the “Lost Illusions” and “Annette” take everything!

Already awarded many times, including the Oscars, the film The Father by Florian Zeller adds the César for Best Foreign Film to his fine list. The prize for Best Original Screenplay was awarded to Arthur Harari and Vincent Poymiro for Onoda, 10,000 nights in the jungle. The César for Best Documentary Fiction Short was awarded to Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis for Maalbeek.

The award for Best Documentary Film went to The Snow Pantherdirected by Marie Amiguet and Vincent Munier, while the César for Best Short Fiction Film went to the Bad Boys by Elie Girard. Vincent Maël Cardona won the César for Best First Film for Magnetics.

The Best Animated Short Film goes this year to Sweet madness, hard madnessdirected by Marine Laclotte, while the César for Best Animated Film was awarded to summit of the godsby Patrick Imbert.
