In total, 45 public and private establishments are located in a prohibited motorized traffic zone (perimeter “red”) and 36 others are in a regulated motorized traffic zone (perimeter “blue”), indicates the press release. It adds that around fifty educational establishments will see a one-off adjustment of their schedules for “take into account the expected tensions in public transport”.

More specifically, in the Créteil academy, three schools, in the immediate vicinity of the Paralympic sites, will see their operations adapted “in a significative way” the first week back to school. A college located in the heart of the Paralympic village will, for example, “temporarily relocated to a nearby unoccupied elementary school”.

In the Paris academy, public nursery and elementary schools will welcome their students according to the usual schedules. Regarding the second degree, “the different establishments will organize their return to school according to arrangements defined on a case-by-case basis”. The hours will generally be those usually practiced but “they can be arranged when significant flows are expected due to competitions”.

Finally, in the Versailles academy, two departments will host Paralympic events: Yvelines and Hauts-de-Seine. In Yvelines, the ban on traffic on the RD10 in the direction of Versailles towards St-Cyr and the RD7 “will have consequences for around twenty establishments”. Schedule adjustments have therefore been defined with “early departures at 4 p.m. in primary schools and 3 p.m. in secondary schools”. In Hauts-de-Seine, the establishments “will operate in accordance with the usual timetables” but primary school teachers are invited to arrive before 8 a.m. and secondary school students to arrive in stages.
