You close your eyes, and here you are appreciating some beautiful specimens of Venetian passiti, so much the depth of flavor is evident here. The frappato and nero d’Avola, however, go further by blending in with the local terroirs to better extract their uniqueness, fleshiness and lovely notes of fresh tobacco on the finish. (5+) ©
