(Drummondville) A violent exit from the road claimed the life of a woman on Tuesday afternoon after she was ejected from her vehicle.
The accident occurred in the municipality of Saint-Majorique-de-Grantham, in Centre-du-Québec.
Police officers from the Drummondville MRC were called to go to Lemire Boulevard around 2:45 p.m., after a vehicle swerved.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the car left the road and hit a culvert. A 33-year-old woman from Drummondville, who was alone in her vehicle, was ejected under the force of the impact. His death was pronounced at the scene.
According to the SQ, this suggests that she was not wearing the seat belt. A police officer specializing in investigation and collision was dispatched to the scene to clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.
