Celine Dion promises a new Thursday

After a long hiatus caused by health issues, Quebec diva Celine Dion promised new music on Thursday.

The singer posted a very brief message on social media on Wednesday, announcing new music Thursday at 8 a.m.

Celine Dion has been on hiatus for several months to treat health problems. She announced in December that she had stiff person syndrome, or Moersch-Woltman syndrome, which forced her to cancel several concerts in Europe.

This rare neurological disease causes muscle spasms and affects her daily life, especially when she walks and uses her vocal cords.

The 55-year-old singer said she worked daily to regain strength and endurance.

It is not yet known what happens to the canceled shows.

The singer returned to the news last February due to her participation in the romantic comedy love again (love again).
