Celine Dion: A last minute upheaval for her first film as an actress…

This time, the promo is on! While the site Deadline revealed in October 2020 that Celine Dion would play a real role as an actress in a romantic comedy alongside Sam Heughan (Outlander, Bloodshot…) and Priyanka Chopra (Quantico, Isn’t It Romantic, Baywatch…), a first photo of the shooting has been unveiled. And, above all, the film has just experienced a last minute upheaval.

On the Web, the actors of the film directed by Jim Strouse shared a first photo but, above all, we discovered that the long-titled project Text For You now change name! Indeed, like a big nod to the singer, the film is now called It’s All Coming Back To Me. A reference to Celine Dion’s cult hit, which was recently used millions of times for a challenge on the TikTok application. The website of variety gives more details about the film which will be released in cinemas on February 10, 2023. It was partly shot in London between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021. During her long break, first because of the pandemic and then because of health problems, Celine Dion would have taken the opportunity to shoot her scenes ?

The 54-year-old diva, who recently reappeared on video to support Ukrainian victims of Russia’s war, is one of the executive producers on the film. A new challenge for the one who declared herself as “the boss” of her career since the death of her late husband and manager René Angélil. For a long time, she has always claimed to have the dream of interpreting Maria Callas in a biopic; the Quebecer herself was recently at the heart of a project of this kind, thanks to Aline by and with Valérie Lemercier. In addition to her first steps as an actress, despite a few cameos here and there over the years on the small and big screen, Celine Dion also recorded an unpublished song for It’s All Coming Back To Me.

In the film, where we will also find actor Russell Tovey in a secondary role, she will play a kind of mentor in love for the character played by Priyanka Chopra, a young woman in mourning following the death of her fiancé, in who she sends messages on her number now assigned to another man…
