The adventure of a lifetime… which ends in the first hours. When participating in “Koh Lanta”, the goal is obviously to go to the end of the adventure. Manage to reach the mythical posts and be crowned winner to win a nice check, the apotheosis of an unforgettable adventure. But the most complicated is undoubtedly to pass the castings. With the thousands of requests, being chosen by the production is not always easy. The proof with Célia, dean of the season “Koh-Lanta: the sacred fire”who is applying for the game of TF1… for 14 years!
In an interview given to Parisian, this 49-year-old Norman has however assured it. In 14 years of trying, his motivations have never waned. “The motivations were the same, but more reinforced each year”she immediately assures our colleagues before saying more about her physical qualities: “I have been athletic for a long time, I was French wrestling champion, I box, swim, run… I have never gone beyond my limits and I have always sought to reach them”. But his dream came to an end after only three days…

Célia’s worst memory on “Koh-Lanta” … with Denis Brogniart
Indeed, Célia was the first to leave “Koh Lanta” this Tuesday, February 21 and the disappointment is immense. Our colleagues have also sought to know what had been his worst memory of the adventure. And unsurprisingly, his elimination made him fall from very high. “When Denis extinguished my flame”, she says when she talks about her worst memory. A complicated moment for her which pushed her to “turned his head away”and not “not look”. “That was the most unbearable”she finally admitted.
But the most terrible thing about this elimination was the announcement to her children. “It was terrible for me. It still is. This defeat, I will not digest it, until my death, I believe”, she admitted still disappointed not to have succeeded in going further. Especially since “waffle on the obstacle course” means a lot to her. Mom of military sons, she feels a lot of “ashamed of them”. So much so that she wouldn’t even have “dared to look them in the face” on his return home. Fortunately, Célia was able to count on their support. They reassured her and motivated her for the future: “They said to me: ‘You are a fighter, you are going to fight for something else, find another project'”. If Célia has not yet chosen her “other project”, she could well try her luck in another program hosted by Denis Brogniart: “Ninja-Warrior”.
