The investigative chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal on Monday, November 22, 2021 rejected the request for the release of Cédric Jubillar, suspected of having made his wife Delphine disappear. “It is certainly for the purposes of the investigation, he is being kept in detention.“, one of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers, Alexandre Martin, said to reporters at greater length in the afternoon.
Cédric Jubillar, 34, who worked as a temporary worker in the construction industry, denies any link with the disappearance of his wife and mother of their two children.
The young woman, a night nurse in a clinic in Albi and then aged 33, disappeared during the night of December 15 to 16, 2020. She was last seen in their house in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn. It was her husband who gave the alert to the gendarmes.
On several occasions, Cédric Jubillar requested his release, which each time was refused by the courts. He was indicted for murder on June 18 and immediately remanded in custody at Seysses remand center, near Toulouse.
After an interrogation on October 15 in the judges’ office, the main suspect in the Delphine Jubillar case must again answer on December 3 to questions from the two magistrates in charge of the investigation.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent until the final judgment of this case.
