on October 4, 2023 in theaters, the most famous French-speaking actress begins a media tour. Indeed, Catherine Deneuve, who lends her features to the era of Jacques Chirac, agreed to grant an interview to our colleagues from Paris Match.
A rare interview granted to the press during which the actress admitted to having a “low esteem” journalists. To illustrate her point, Catherine Deneuve also mentioned six papers signed by the great reporter Raphaëlle Bacqué for the newspaper The world in summer 2023: “I was worse than displeased, I was shocked more than angry at the false and malicious things. I did not react quickly enough for a right of reply.”she said. “If I had met the journalist, I would have thrown a glass of water in her face”she threatened!

Catherine Deneuve: her message of categorical refusal for a “Complementary Investigation”
This is not the first time that Catherine Deneuve has sent a scathing message to a journalist. In 2018, during the broadcast of a Further investigation
on her person, the France 2 magazine teams had received a categorical message from the latter: “Yes, hello, it’s Catherine Deneuve on the phone. I’m calling you because I know that you tried to contact people close to me for a portrait for France 2. I’m sorry but it’s a genre that I don’t like not the portraits at all. I find it a little sinister. There you go. I send you my regards all the same. Goodbye.” A message that could not be clearer, however, the issue was indeed broadcast on August 30, 2018.
