He was the best referee … last season
Patrick Arlettaz (USAP coach) : It is played on this last action with many faults but the referee gives us nothing. He was the best referee last season but he is no longer the case. We could have secured victory earlier. It’s a shame for my players, I think it’s not fair, I think we deserved something else. We are proud of the Catalans and when there are rules, there are rules so at some point there are things that are difficult to swallow. David Darricarrère (Castres coach) : The choice to go in touch rather than take the penalty suits us well, the players made their choice and they assume it, it worked well. Both teams gave their all, all the players ended up on their knees. It was a fierce fight, a constant fight. At the slightest error, we could be penalized by Jaminet’s foot. It’s a real performance to win here. There is a lot to say about our content, but we have the payoff. Jérémy Fernandez (melee Castres) : we knew that by coming here, we would have a fight. We had it, we made a lot of mistakes and we were under pressure especially in the first half. It’s only our second away win and most of the time it’s because of all the mistakes we make. It almost happened again in this game.
