The price of fuel continues to increase in France! While its price had already started a strong surge in recent weeks, it is intensifying due to the war in Ukraine. The reason ? The sanctions imposed on Russia, the second largest oil exporter, are already starting to have consequences.
To meet this demand, the Casino brand is launching the “fuel at 1 euro” operation in service stations from Friday March 11 and until Sunday March 13, 2022.
While the price of fuel at the pump now exceeds the huge threshold of 2 euros per litre, or even more, and most French people are struggling to fill their tank… Casino will temporarily offer its fuel “at cost price” under several conditions .
How to take advantage of this mini price?
As the distributor explains on its website, the operation will take place in three stages. Initially, consumers will have to buy fuel at service stations. Motorists will then have to go to the reception of a Casino store with the fuel receipt. From then on, they will receive “a voucher equivalent to the difference between the price paid at the station and the liter at 1 euro”.
With the voucher in hand, the consumer will then have to go shopping… For a minimum amount of 100 euros, otherwise he will not be able to use the voucher… Hence the importance of going shopping. races after its full and not before!
