On paper, Caroline Receveur is a fulfilled woman. At 34, the one who was revealed in Secret Story in 2008, has come a long way since its inception. In particular, she became her own boss by launching several companies and brands, all while leading a successful influencer activity on social networks. At the same time, Caroline Receveur got married to Hugo Philip in July 2020, and had a child with him: marlon (3 years).
With so much happiness in her life, it therefore seems difficult to conceive that the pretty blonde is subject to violent anxieties. She is even sometimesparalyzed” as she confides without taboo regularly. Caroline Receveur decided to remedy it and, on a whim with a friend, she flew in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
There, she took part in shamanic experiences that were supposed to help her heal her mind through chanting, massage, meditation and other techniques related to the energy of the body. On Instagram Wednesday, April 20, 2022, she shared a video summary of her memorable stay. Through the images, she reveals herself as never before: completely natural, without make-up, simply dressed in a T-shirt and jogging and equipped with a backpack. She also explains that she was surprised to have only boarded with her “three slibards“.
I’m afraid of losing what I have
It must be said that Caroline Receveur mainly made the trip to indulge in an open heart. And that’s what she did when she found herself face to face with a Buddhist monk. At one point, she even managed to release everything she had inside her by bursting into tears. “The thing is, I’m very happy because I deeply love my life, and I have everything I want, but I’m afraid of losing everything I have. It’s like I don’t deserve to be happy, that’s what I feel, so every time I’m afraid of losing what I have and it prevents me from accessing true happiness. I have these fears all the time for no reason“, she struggled to articulate.
The Buddhist monk who listened to her attentively then understood that a tragedy had happened in her life, namely the death of her father when she was 17 years old, which occurred after ten years of illness. “The worst was not his death. The worst is my biggest fear, to live my life and suddenly everything changes. My father fell ill suddenly and after that nothing was the same. I think my fear comes from there“, she felt upset.
