Caroline Receveur: back on chemo

We will have to wait until September to find out if immunotherapy and chemotherapy have done their job.

The news is not good, but it is not catastrophic either. After having undergone a long operation

more than five hours to remove the cancer cells lodged in its bosom, Caroline Receveur

thought he was finally done with his damn illness. But last week, the return of doctors dampened his hopes of remission. “The tests showed that there were a few small cancer cells remaining in the tissue that was removed during my mastectomy, she explained on her Instagram account. To take no risks, even if everything was removed, we decided with my doctors to add a little chemotherapy to my immunotherapy in order to avoid any recurrence. We are really focused on prevention and it’s reassuring not to let anything slip by,” she continues.

“I was prepared for it”

Determined to fight the cancerthe former presenter of NRJ12 is preparing to fight a new grueling battle. “I had prepared myself for this eventuality. I intend to go through with the protocol so as not to let anything slip through.” During the next nine months, she will therefore have to undergo fourteen new cycles of immunotherapy to which chemotherapy will be added. A treatmentheavy which the star takes with optimism. “THE lymph nodes not being affected, I still remain super happy with the analysis results and I ‘focus’ on the positive.” For her son Marlon, 5 years old, and with the support of her husband Hugo Philip, Caroline plans to not give up while enjoying life to the fullest. “I am happy and peaceful, with lots of great projects to come, including our move”, she confides. A great lesson in courage and combativeness…
