A major figure in French cinema, Carole Bouquet was one of the prestigious guests of the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival 2022. This May 28, the actress was therefore on the red carpet, imperial in her elegant black outfit with an embroidered plastron. She did not come alone for the occasion, posing in front of the countless Cannes photographers with her companion, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild.
Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, born in 1963, likes to say that he is “a financier in a family of artists… who were themselves artists in a family of financiers!” (The echoes). He is the son of Jacques Sereys, honorary member of the Comédie-Française. Appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA in 2014 after the death of his Philippine mother, he has three children from a previous union: Léonore, Mathilde and Nathan. With those of his lover Carole Bouquet, Dimitri Rassam and Louis Giacobetti, he forms a glorious blended family.
On the red carpet Cannes, the elegant Philippe Sereys de Rothschild gave a tender kiss to his beloved, which we could recently appreciate in the series In therapy. On the stage of the Grand Théâtre Lumière, she then caused surprise by also offering a kiss, but to the president of the jury Vincent Lindon! A gesture of love but of cinema which followed the moving declaration of love of previous winners, Felix Van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch who were rewarded for eight mountains (ex aequo jury prize).
