One of the most coveted players on the major league free agent market, Carlos Correa, has reportedly signed a monster 13-year, $350 million deal with the San Francisco Giants.

This was reported by ESPN network expert Jeff Passan on Tuesday evening. It would be a record deal for a shortstop in the Major Leagues.
After declining a $160 million deal offered by the Houston Astros, the team that drafted him first overall in 2012, Correa signed a three-year contract with the Minnesota Twins last year. An option, however, allowed him to break the agreement after only one season, which he did at the beginning of December.
We can say that his bet paid off, as he will join one of the most affluent teams on the Manfred circuit.
Correa, 28, has batted 2.91 in 136 games in 2022, hitting 22 hits and driving in 64 runs.
In career, the Puerto Rican played 888 games, during which he scored 553 RBIs and hit 155 long balls.
