In Belgium, 4,000 caregivers demonstrated against the vaccine obligation. On the Spanish side, the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 for 5-11 year olds has been authorized.
Nearly 4,000 caregivers demonstrated in Belgium on Tuesday, December 7th. They protested against the vaccine obligation planned for January 1 with dismissal or withdrawal of salary for those who refuse to do so. Faced with the scale of the movement, social consultation has been initiated.
Spain authorizes vaccination against Covid-19 for children aged between 5 and 11 years old. The vaccination campaign for this age group should start next Wednesday in the country. Pediatric doses have been ordered for three million children. With the expansion of the vaccination campaign, Spain hopes to avoid a sixth wave of contamination.
In Poland, new restrictions are introduced. The discos will close on December 15th. Hotels, restaurants, cinemas, churches can only accommodate 30% of their capacity. Secretary of State for Health, Waldemar Kraska explains that “these limits will not take into account the vaccinated people and it will be necessary to set up checks”.
After three weeks of confinement, Monday, December 13 will mark the return to freedom in Austria, but not for everyone. Unvaccinated people will have to remain confined according to Chancellor Karl Nehammer. One way to put pressure on those resistant to vaccination against Covid-19.
