A young man lies between life and death following serious injuries sustained in a car accident on Highway 40 in Montérégie on Sunday morning.
At around 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, a car found itself on the hood and finished its race in the ditch, on Highway 40 West, in Vaudreuil-Dorion, in the Montérégie region.
The driver, a man in his twenties, sustained significant injuries. His life is threatened, said Sergeant Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
This portion of the highway was closed until noon. A patroller specializing in collision investigation was dispatched to the scene to analyze the scene.
No hypothesis is ruled out for the moment as to the reasons which led to the accident.
