The captain of the French rugby team announces his return to the field, one month after his broken jaw.
His return was the center of all attention: it’s official, France will play the quarter-finals with its captain Antoine Dupont. “My convalescence went well, I was able to follow all the necessary steps to return to the game, and today I am at full capacity”, rejoices Antoine Dupont. The captain of the Blues was seen during the last training sessions with a helmet on his head which he will wear this Sunday against South Africa.
The fans are happy
In Toulouse, where he plays for club, the fans can only appreciate his return to the field. “He is not the best player in the world for nothing, he is a real plus for the France team”, estimates a supporter. Others fear this decision is hasty, just one month after his jaw fracture. “In my opinion he is still vulnerable”says a fan.
