A woman in her sixties finds herself between life and death after being evacuated from a burning home in the city center of Saint-Raymond, in the Capitale-Nationale region.
The fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. Monday in a home on rue Saint-Joseph in Saint-Raymond. This accommodation is located above an outdoor business, hunting and fishing, in the heart of the municipality.
According to information from the Sûreté du Québec, the victim left his accommodation before being transferred to hospital. She suffered significant injuries that put her life in danger, specifies Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
An investigation was opened by the SQ to determine the cause of the fire.
