CAP wins against Floirac for its first match of the year

After a month without playing, Périgueux returned to form on the lawn of the Francis Rongieras stadium. CAP wins against Floirac with a score of 25 / 0, with the offensive bonus, this Sunday, January 16th. The Périgourdins rugby players had not played since their defeat against Rennes last December. Their scheduled match against Beauvais was postponed at the start of the year due to cases of covid.

Three trials entered

For their big return to the field, the CAP players have risen to the occasion. They didn’t have many chances but most of them were successful and they scored three tries. Périgueux scores his first try after five minutes of play, the second after a quarter of an hour and finally the third in the second half. The Floirac team opposite took no penalty to attempt the throw-ins but the Girondins did not score a try. Opposite, the Périgueux players were relentless, sometimes even a few centimeters from the in-goal and they thwarted all attempts.

Périgueux consolidates its leading position
