Another new goal fulfilled for Le Club Athlétique de Périgueux. This Saturday, May 14 on the lawn of the Francis Rongiéras stadium, facing a beautiful audience of supporters, CAP dominated Floirac (27-13) in the quarter-final second leg of the French Federal 1 championship.
The victory was not assured, Périgueux won with difficulty (25 to 22) last Sunday during the first leg. But at home, the capists quickly took the advantage. Djamel Ouchène scored a first try in the 24th minute of play. At half-time, CAP was leading 13-6. Two tries were added in the second period, scored by Baptiste Arvouet and Clément Cavalière. While Périgueux led 27-6, Floirac scored his only try of the evening, less than ten minutes before the end of the match.

Périgueux, already guaranteed to go up to National 2 next season, will know his opponent for the semi-finals tomorrow. Rennes faces Saint-Jean-de-Luz in the quarter-final second leg at 3 p.m. The Bretons beat the Basque club in the first leg.
