(Vancouver) The Vancouver Canucks extended defenseman Guillaume Brisebois’ contract for two years on Tuesday.
It is a two-pact for 2023-24 and a one-pact for 2024-25. In the latter case, his salary will be the same whether he plays in the NHL or the AHL.
The 25-year-old Brisebois has one assist in nine games with the Vancouver Canucks this season.
He appeared in 36 games with the Abbotsford branch, recording one goal and six points.
The Longueuil athlete was a Canucks third-round pick in 2015.
“Guillaume has made progress this season,” Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin said in a statement. We will continue to work with him. We expect him to fight hard for a regular NHL spot next season. »
